Meanwhile, the boys and I were quite cozy in my bed the morning of August 30th. ;)

camping.
On August 29th and 30th, Cole and Daddy headed to camp. One of their favorite memories together for sure!
case to the dr.
On August 29th, Case went to his well-child check. At 4 years old, Case was 37 lbs. (47th percentile) and 42.3 in. tall (73rd percentile). He is a healthy 4 year old ready for Pre-K!

pre-k 4's.
This big 4 year old had Pre-K Orientation on August 27th. He was going to a new school this year with one of his buddies, our next store neighbor, Ruby. Watch out Pre-K!
bad news bears.
On August 26th, after two weeks of pain, we headed to the ortho doc. And there was indeed bad news. She did in fact have a fracture in the growth plate of her shoulder, so 6 weeks more of the sling for the poor gal! I was heart broken for her, so that night went and got some goodies to make her sling a little more fun and surprised her with it the next morning :)
sisters.
There really aren't words that adequately describe my gratefulness for this duo! The admiration Callynn has for Cole and the precious care Cole shows Callynn is a gift beyond words! We love you girls so much and your special bond! My prayer is that your love for one another would grow over every year you live! Thank you Cole, for loving your baby sister in this way! Callynn loves to hear her big sis read her books!

I'm telling you, this kid came home with these bad boys all the time! Proud of your hard work Camden!

hola.
A fun thing about school being in session is that sometimes the littles and I can do a spontaneous lunch with Daddy!
starting them young.
We are all about starting our kiddos out young on chores! HOWEVER, I'm thinking Case may need a couple more inches before this is possible!
role model.
And this is how you do 1st grade! This guy brought home not one, but two red ribbons for being a role model student! One given by his teacher and the other from the principal! So proud of you buddy!!! (And just a side note, Cole, you are a role model student as well, 3rd grade just doesn't offer the red ribbons ;)
football.
As if my little boy starting 1st grade wasn't enough, he started football too! Now don't get me wrong…I LOVE FOOTBALL and to date, this is probably one of the cutest things I've ever seen on this earth, however, how is Camden old enough to do this?!
they're home.
The first day of school was only a half day, so we were ready with our pool attire for when they got home to take advantage of any little bit of summer we could squeeze out! We were excited to see our bigs!
school begins again.
On August 19th, we had a 1st grader and 3rd grader in the house! These years just keep flying by at rapid pace! These two were ready to go!
