Lots of People to See...

...and things to do. Cole and I visited lots of people over the New Year. Many of whom have escaped the camera however. Here are some that were caught by the camera.

"All of these for me?"

"Oh, how I love Teddy!"

"Where does Papaw keep going?"

"You're funny Uncle Keith!"

"Nana knows I love bananas!"
...Cole said nana the other day by the way. So she basically has dada and nana down pat and MAMA is no where in sight!

"Thank you Kena & Kelsey for coming to see me!"

"Thanks for feeding me Aunt Crista!"

"I love you Aunt Terry!"

Happy Birthday Papaw

Cole and I went to Louisville to celebrate Papaw's birthday on the first of this month. Cole joyfully helped him unwrap some of his gifts and they shared some fun times together--I think Papaw has a buddy. Happy Birthday Dad/Papaw a few days late.

Colorado

I thought I'd post before you had the chance to ask. Here are few pictrues from my experience in northern Colorado this past week.

Cole over Coffee

This picture has a lot to say. Dad and daughter over coffee, talking, sharing, listening, expressing.

I’m currently on day seven of nine days away from her. I have had the amazing opportunity to go to Colorado for a class while Jess and Cole headed to Louisville. The following came to me in my first day away from my daughter. These are words I wrote for her.

The following words are more important than any other she will ever hear. These words are heard on the screen in front of you, on pages for Cole to read one day, in tones she will hear from not just her mother and father’s vocal chords, but in every moment and movement of her life, I pray and trust.

I love you. I love you UNconditionally, meaning without any conditions, disclaimers, or outside influence that will EVER change that. If the world is much like it is now as you read as when I wrote, the “love” much of the world lives by is earned, lost, qualified, stipulated, self-centered, or summed up—conditional. Know this. You will NEVER have to earn your mom and dad’s love. Nothing you do, Nothing you don’t do, can nor will ever change, influence, or affect in anyway our love for you, our daughter, Cole. We love you Cole.
