still...

It is still a CRAZY house around here! Cole has been such a sweet girl and such a huge help even though her cold is still annoying her a bit! What a trooper!
But, Camden is still having a terrible time! Although his cough seems better, he hasn't stopped crying while awake in about 48 hours. We even took a trip to the E.R. last night and after a chest x-ray found nothing that should be causing him this much distress. The only conclusion I can come to is that the steroids the Dr. put him on are making him really sad. I have no idea!
On another note, our computer is also ill...seriously?!!! A virus has even hit it. Just send me to the loony house!
Anyway, please continue to pray for our little family!
I promise to bring you some really fun posts after this all settles down.

sick kiddos.

The last few days have been VERY LONG! The kids have both been feeling really crummy. We took them to the Dr. today and he informed us that RSV and Croup are horrible in our city right now. Oh, Great!
So, the status is...Cole's feeling much better today. She still has a lingering cough and stuffy nose, but is quickly getting back to her spunky self! :)
However, Camden really is more sick than he's been in a long time. His poor chest has a hard time fighting this kind of junk and has since he was a little guy. He's on breathing treatments and the Dr. started him on steroids today to reduce the swelling, but other than that, there's not a lot we can do to make him feel much better. For the last two days, all he wants to do is lay in my arms with his blankie. Literally, from morning till night and he won't eat a thing. He's tired but can't sleep and seems to just hurt!
PLEASE be praying for these little ones. It is always so hard to see them feeling so awful!

precious.

Cole woke up from a nap a couple of days ago and Camden came in with me to get her up. This is what they decided to do...for atleast half an hour. These moments help A LOT!

closing time.

The night before we left Louisville, the kids had to get some last minute hang time in. Lots of singing and dancing took place.

I think they both look pretty happy :) His sweet smile completely melts me!

readers.

And yet, this is how our little princess and Nana bond. Aren't girls and boys funny?! Cole really would let you read to her for hours without interruption!

I think they were in deep thought!

girls night!

Last Saturday night, my parents watched the kids, and I got to see my girls!!! We went to one of our favorite restaurants since high school, TUMBLEWEED!!! I really can't explain how grateful I am to still have these girls in my life! I love you all!

And by the way, my parents always taught me, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say ANYTHING at all!"...the belly's growin' and I'm quite aware ;)

the other williford christmas.

While we were in Louisville, we got together with "The Other Willifords" for Christmas. Everyone was sweet to wait until we could come into town...thanks guys!

(I also need to make a small apology for the lack of pictures I took while we were in Louisville. The quality definitely leaves a lot to be desired! But hey, at least there's somethin'.)

What a fun group :)

I'm sure Cole was helping Papaw with that present!

Camden is really starting to love on baby dolls. This makes me happy! Maybe he'll like his baby brother after all :)

louisville morning.

This past week, the kids and I headed to Louisville. This was a pretty typical way to find the kids in the a.m. hours.
Cartoons :) For whatever reason, it's more exciting when sitting on the arm of the couch.
Camden enjoyed hanging out in the garage with Papaw working with tools!

more and more snow.

About a week and a half ago, we got another snow and 3/4 of the family, once again, thoroughly enjoyed it! Cole was out of school, and Daddy worked from home, so some of us took advantage of the day out in the snow.

She did this probably 50 times :)

Camden on the other hand, stood there...

...until Daddy took him to do this! We get it now Camden! We promise, no more snow for the season!

our little ballerina.

She's come a long way in dance class. She participates so well and we are so proud of our little ballerina.

So grown up!

Loving her brother after class...this makes my heart smile :)

lollipops.

lollipops = happy quiet kids :)

frosty.

We bought a "Frosty the Snowman" kit, as Cole calls it, a couple weeks ago. She has been SO excited about a big snow and we finally got it last week! She COULD NOT wait to build "Frosty". She said his name was Frosty because he has a pipe :) I thought that was cute!

We had plenty of snow, however, building a snowman out of powder sugar is near impossible and that was about what we were working with.

She took a break to take a trip down the slide into the snow--her other favorite thing to do in the snow.

She was REALLY happy :)

It was the best we could do and that was with about an hour or more of work :)

She sure LOVED him!!!
In case you were wondering, Camden was inside enjoying the comfort and warmth of the house.

princess date.

We took a Mommy Cole date to see the Princess and the Frog on New Years Day.
Can I just say how grateful I am to be blessed by such an amazing daughter and for these sweet moments?!!!

We LOVE popcorn!!!

new years eve part 2.

We made it home for the ball drop. Look at those smiles at 11 pm! What sweet kids!
A side note--the kids slept until 10:30 the next morning :)

Sweet boy!

Of course we have snacks when waiting for anything at the Talty house...the countdown was about to begin.

Happy New Year...kisses for Mom!

Happy New Year from the Happy couple :)

new years eve.

New Years Eve...kiddo style :) Our New Years Eves have become very different than they once were. And we love every minute of it! I mean, look at those faces :)

We went to a friend's house, hung out until 10:45, and came home in time to watch the ball drop (Eastern Time) as a family. Cheers to 2010!

The Nutcracker...Barbie style.

Boys will be boys!

snow trial take two.

Last week we had another little snow...so we decided to try again.

She's happy as a little eskimo shoveling away!

This is from the moment we walked outside with Camden until the moment we took him in...

Getting undressed...and he's STILL mad about it.

I guess the snow just isn't for him this year...maybe next year.
