On our first day in Ohio, Cole put Mimi to work right away. The craft girls got to work. Two kindred spirits for sure!

Our first morning in Ohio, we stopped for donuts on the way to Grammy and Poppy's.

While I was packing for our recent trip to Ohio, Daddy was hard at work. I went downstairs to check on everyone and this is what I found!!! :) What a sport!

So here's a little preview of what our evenings look like from time to time. Our families will testify that this poor girl comes by "performance" honestly. I think her Daddy and I made our families listen to many concerts as youngsters. You have a beautiful voice sweetheart and Camden, you are so encouraging! :)

Camden actually took a break from throwing balls and crashing cars to hang out with Daddy and the guitar.

He really wanted the pick that fell inside the guitar...hence the face :)

field trip.

Cole's class had a field trip to a pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and Daddy and I were able to go! It was a cold wet day, but lots of fun!

louisville visit.

A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I took a quick trip to Louisville. We got to spend quite a bit of time with our new little cousin, August. She's pretty cute! :)

The kids were having a lot of fun pushing August in the swing...

...but I'm not convinced August felt the same way about the situation.


She thought she'd try out the play gym...she liked the camera better though :)


Cole and Papaw were doing an awfully good job keeping that little girl happy!
