a walk in the park.

After library time, we headed across the street to the park.

This is post rolling down the hill...I missed it with the camera.

Snuggles for Mimi!

What a quad! They sure had their hands full!

Nothin' sweeter!

Thanks for the push!

We had a pond-side photo-shoot with semi-willing participants :)

What a beautiful fall day!!!

library fun.

Aunt Colleen set the kids up for a class at her local library while we were there. The kids LOVED every minute of it!!! What a neat treat! Thank you Aunt Colleen!

Camden found a cozy lap.

Cole and Mimi listening to the story.

Cole loved the songs too!

What a little percussionist!

Camden decided to listen to the story too.

What a cute group!

Cole got to hold the monkey puppet during the song.

After the story and song time, we got to play a little longer in the kids' area.

Mimi and Camden enjoying a quick cuddle.

craft time.

On our first day in Ohio, Cole put Mimi to work right away. The craft girls got to work. Two kindred spirits for sure!

I think this is my favorite picture of Cole and Mimi!

a good start.

Our first morning in Ohio, we stopped for donuts on the way to Grammy and Poppy's.

"Thank you God for our yummy donuts and our breakfast together as a family."

Dig in.

I think she was afraid she might miss a sprinkle.

Hey, but atleast we use napkins :)

He takes his donuts VERY seriously!!!

hard at work.

While I was packing for our recent trip to Ohio, Daddy was hard at work. I went downstairs to check on everyone and this is what I found!!! :) What a sport!

the stage.

So here's a little preview of what our evenings look like from time to time. Our families will testify that this poor girl comes by "performance" honestly. I think her Daddy and I made our families listen to many concerts as youngsters. You have a beautiful voice sweetheart and Camden, you are so encouraging! :)

pumpkin carving.

I know I'm behind, but it's better than never posting them, so here ya go. Pumpkin carving was fun in the Talty house!

Okay, so this is a bit of a long video, but Camden's excitement at the end is priceless. The kids were so giddy!

Apparently Cole needed a closer look.

break.

Camden actually took a break from throwing balls and crashing cars to hang out with Daddy and the guitar.

He really wanted the pick that fell inside the guitar...hence the face :)

field trip.

Cole's class had a field trip to a pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and Daddy and I were able to go! It was a cold wet day, but lots of fun!

Camden couldn't be left out!

This is one of Cole's best friends in her class, Victoria. Should I remind everyone that Cole is the YOUNGEST student in her class. Everyone has her by a head :)

Quite possibly my favorite picture :)

This is a rare occasion--Camden resting.

louisville visit.

A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I took a quick trip to Louisville. We got to spend quite a bit of time with our new little cousin, August. She's pretty cute! :)

The kids were having a lot of fun pushing August in the swing...

...but I'm not convinced August felt the same way about the situation.

She thought she'd try out the play gym...she liked the camera better though :)

Cole and Papaw were doing an awfully good job keeping that little girl happy!

Story time...at least Cole was interested.

Cole really is officially the BEST big sister I've ever witnessed! She sure loves her little cousin too!

Uncle Bruce is one proud "Pops"!

Aunt Trish aka "G-Mama" is pretty smitten too :)

Kisses for Crista! :)

What a fun time!
