halloween part 2

Happy Halloween everyone! And for the rest of the story.

Meet the Talty Pumpkin Family!

Our tired kids...ready for bed probably as opposed to trick-or-treating :)

We thought the wagon would be a good idea.

I'm pretty sure he wanted me to open that :)

Big boy with his pumpkin. He wouldn't carry it by the strap--only by the sides.

They were tiring quickly, so the wagon came in handy.

A couple more houses...Mommy in "part" of her witch costume.

And, they're done! With smiles of course!

They are a pretty beautiful garden fairy and scary dragon if you ask me!

Cole and I thought the pumpkins smelled yummy while burning.

A little last minute admiration of the pumpkin family.
We concluded the evening with candy, glow-in-the-dark bracelets, and a needed but refused ER trip. (Camden had a similar accident to Cole's recent, but his was a fight with the rocking horse. Hopefully Nurse Mommy did a good enough job because the ER is not the place you want to be at 10 pm, during flu season, on HALLOWEEN!!!)

halloween part 1

Our kids blessed us this halloween with sleeping in a bit this morning--what a treat! So, the kids of course needed a yummy breakfast! Cole was thrilled!

Then of course, pumpkin carving! (The picture of our family of pumpkins to come.)

After some REALLY short naps, we headed to our friend, Jake's birthday party. Complete with a jumpy house...

...tractor...

...pinata...
...and pumpkin painting!

And to think...we still had to get home to trick-or-treat! Whew!

party fit for a princess.

Mabry Sue turned 4 about a month ago and Kim had THE CUTEST party for her! It was held at a little boutique downtown here called "It's a Girl Thing". The girls were in their element!

It started by the princess reading Fancy Nancy.

Then the girls got to make their own lotions to take home...with sparkles of course.

Then...the girls got to get "fancy"!
Cole was picking out her accessories!

...and powdering up.

The birthday girl!

Cole and Anna checking themselves out in the dressing room! They were definitely fancy!

She was so proud!

It was almost so much cuteness you could hardly stand it ;)

And...the fashion show begins! Check out the sweet sisters posing!

Nice, Cole :)

Nice over the shoulder Annie!

Kate wasn't quite as excited about the fashion show.

What a sweet group of girls!

Look at these poses. These are some fancy girls!

Next, it was time for a parade down the street and a visit to a little diner for an ice cream sundae.

Cole was practicing her princess wave.

On the way back to the boutique...can we say sugar high!

And back to the boutique for cupcakes and pink lemonade.

CHEERS!

Kim, thanks for an awesome party that these girls won't soon forget! Happy Birthday Mabes!

circus in town.

It feels like the circus at the Talty house most of our lives, but last month the circus really did come to our little town.
What a fun time, but it was about 300 degrees. That might be a slight exaggeration, but we were HOT. A staunch difference from today in the Midwest :)

Don't we look happy :)

Cole HAD to take an elephant ride! She loved it!

our future.

A minivan is in our near future. When you keep adding children to a family, it becomes necessary :) The new baby Talty will make his/her arrival sometime around May 9! Exciting!!!

By the way, I am certain I will look very "cool" driving a minivan...I don't care what anyone says :)

bummer.

This was the site outside our backyard a few weeks ago!!! Fortunately, the young man who was in the truck was not injured, however, our fence...is another story! Once insurance goes through, we should be fine, until then--meet the whole in our fence.

daddy's morning.

One day while Mommy was subbing and Cole was at school Daddy and Camden had a boys' morning. They took a quick trip to the zoo and returned for a quick cartoon. Camden looks awefully content!

He really is falling in line with his sister!

happy birthday emma.

Happy Birthday to Emma! A few weeks ago, her parents had a fun Barbie party for her and the girls. The girls got to bring their favorite Barbie, which Cole brought her Bride Barbie, and Camden brought his GI-Joe :)

Look at that cute cake!

The dads started putting her presents together.

I'd say the beauty salon we got her was a success! :)

Thanks for the fun party guys!
