Mommy & Daddy's Vacation

Brian and I had our first night away from Cole. It was a WHOLE 24 hours, but it was definately long enough. We missed her so much. Nana and Papaw stayed with her at our house and they had a fun time. They went to the park, played on the swings and slides, went to McDonald's where Cole was introduced to her new friend "nonald", (translation, Ronald McDonald :), they then went to the store and Cole picked out her first baby doll. As you can see, she loves to hold her baby and cuddle it and they finished the night with ice cream from Culvers. Not a bad night! Thanks again, Mom and Dad for the nice weekend!

Carnival

Cole went to her first Carnival here in town. She LOVED it. Truth be told, she is just as happy to watch all of the people, lights and rides as she was to ride the rides. This first picture is her new face. When she gets excited about something, she makes this big "O" face. We think it's pretty cute! Cole and Papaw rode the carousel, and it was a little fast for her liking, but her and Papaw had fun none the less. And the third picture is of our family and the new way in which Cole prefers to walk...she's a BIG GIRL now!

Rock Garden

Last week, we took a trip to the rock garden in one of our local parks. Cole stopped and wanted to play by the waterfall on the bridge. She stayed entertained by playing with the pebbles and throwing them into the creek.

Wedding Bells

Well wedding bells were ringing last week in Decatur for some of our friends here. As you can see, Cole had a nice time hugging the boys, and a hard time sitting still for taking a picture!

Prayer Request Update

Mom and Crista made it to Nairobi safely. They went to church yesterday and were then supposed to go into town to do some shopping. Today they were supposed to be starting their medical clinic during the day. Please continue to pray for their ministries there, as well as their health and safety! Thank you for your prayers!

PRAYER REQUEST!

Mom and Crista are leaving the Louisville Airport at 2:00pm eastern time today for Nairobi, Kenya with Southeast Christian Church. They will arrive in Nairobi tomorrow night, so please be in prayer for their safety in the air and the airports today and tomorrow. They are there on a medical mission trip. They return back starting on the 11th and arrive in Louisville at 1:30pm on the 12th. We are trusting God for their safety and for their ministry while they are there. Thank you for your prayers!

Spaghetti

Okay, so this is my last post from Louisville--we had quite the eventful week! Now I'll have to start coming up with others. So Cole had her first time with REAL spaghetti and wow did she love it!...but WOW was it messy! She loved it so much that I made it tonight for dinner so Brian could see the action and she said, "mmmmm" with every bite--it was hysterical!

Papaw's Popsicles

Cole and Papaw shared some special times on the couch with popsicles. Her and Papaw became quite the buddies on this last trip. Everywhere we go now, Cole waves at most men and says "papaw".
