sibling laughter.

Are you kidding me? Does it get any cuter than this?! He really does laugh for her more than anyone else and she sure is proud of that!

veggie girl

This would be my little girl eating a tomato. I got this out of the fridge a few days ago, and started to slice it for her lunch--Cole had a fit. She said, "Mom, I wanna eat it like an apple!"--(You have to read that with a little 'sass' in your voice) So, she ate it like an apple--great eater!

taking time to smell the "daisies"

During our golf outing, Cole decided there were some daisies she needed to check out. And Daddy was kind enough to take a few pictures of me with the kids :)

an afternoon in heaven

There isn't much that Brian would prefer to do than play golf, except to play golf with his family that is! He's certainly starting them early.

more of our typical morning

Camden loves to play in his exercauser. We're pretty sure those two bottom teeth are coming soon. He is chewing on everything. So this is a part of Camden's every morning routine:) And of course Cole is always right there to play with her best friend!

a typical morning

While Camden takes his morning nap, Cole and I usually make our way outside. We work out in the yard (which Brian has looking pretty nice by the way), ride bikes, walk with the wagon, play on her swingset, color with sidewalk chalk, etc.

library weekly

Cole's new favorite place to frequent is the library. It has turned into an atleast twice a week thing. She has already settled into a routine there. First she gets a couple of books, reads them in the rocker, plays with the puppets in the theater, and on our way out, she always "needs" to pick out a movie to check out. (If you're wondering where Camden is during all of this...he's usually snoozing right through it in his carseat :)

illini kids

About a week ago, we took some pictures of the kids in their orange and blue...and I thought they were pretty cute, but couldn't believe how grown up they both look!

Ryder Cup

USA and Brian WIN when it comes to the Ryder Cup 2008 at Valhalla.

First of all... all that you read on this blog, credit goes to Jess... but here's my input for a change.

(If you are not a golf fan, bare with me a moment) I've known that the Ryder Cup (attention non golf fans, this is the World Cup/Olympics of professional golf, USA vs Europe) was going to be in Louisville (only in the states every four years) for several years. Throughout which I said over and over I should make tickets happen. Well, tickets are both hard to come by, and if you come by them from someone else, expensive. So I didn't make it happen afterall.

Tuesday night before bed, Jess caught word that someone we knew was trying to unload a few tickets last minute at original cost for Thursday's practice round.

Needless to say I was on my way to Louisville. Brett, his neighbor and I took advantage of watching the USA prepare for victory!
