more of our typical morning
a typical morning
library weekly
Cole's new favorite place to frequent is the library. It has turned into an atleast twice a week thing. She has already settled into a routine there. First she gets a couple of books, reads them in the rocker, plays with the puppets in the theater, and on our way out, she always "needs" to pick out a movie to check out. (If you're wondering where Camden is during all of this...he's usually snoozing right through it in his carseat :)

Ryder Cup
USA and Brian WIN when it comes to the Ryder Cup 2008 at Valhalla.
First of all... all that you read on this blog, credit goes to Jess... but here's my input for a change.
(If you are not a golf fan, bare with me a moment) I've known that the Ryder Cup (attention non golf fans, this is the World Cup/Olympics of professional golf, USA vs Europe) was going to be in Louisville (only in the states every four years) for several years. Throughout which I said over and over I should make tickets happen. Well, tickets are both hard to come by, and if you come by them from someone else, expensive. So I didn't make it happen afterall.
Tuesday night before bed, Jess caught word that someone we knew was trying to unload a few tickets last minute at original cost for Thursday's practice round.
Needless to say I was on my way to Louisville. Brett, his neighbor and I took advantage of watching the USA prepare for victory!

Padrig on far left, Sergio in the follow through... P.S. witnessed JB Holmes hit the roof of that stage on the fly (had to be 350 on the fly)

look closely, that's Jack Nicklaus stepping in and putting one of the Euro's in one handed; he was out checking up on the course he designed... for the record of catching fame, I also saw Muhammad Ali

Graeme McDowell--from Ireland and went to Alabama, according to Dad, should know Bridie's nephew who is from the the same area of Ireland and went to Alabama as well for golf.
