hospital stop.

After over a week of pain off and on for this guy, we headed to the hospital to get things figured out!  He was such a trooper!  I'm so proud of you buddy...you were so brave!

pony express 2013.

The annual Pony Express came around this year on August 16th!  We had a total blast again this year...it seems that it's more and more fun every year!  I posted quite a few videos of our fun :) These kiddos are a ball!

plague continued.

This poor boy was seriously sick for what seemed like forever! We would find him cashed out on the floor all over the house!

police station.

Camden begged and begged to go to the police station for months. I would forget until we drove past it again and he'd start recalling how I hadn't called the police station yet ;)
So...without further ado, we made arrangements and we were going to the police station! Only problem was, Cam still wasn't 100%.

We took our buddy Brennan with us and had a blast!  We are so grateful for such an awesome group of guys that keep us so safe and for the super fun special field trip they made available just for us!

When Cole returned home, it was my turn for some one-on-one time!  And what does this girl love ALMOST as much as camping?!...Ice cream!!!

It was planned that Cole and Camden were going to both be going camping on the first camping trip of the year, but Cam was still sick.  Cole soaked in her time with Daddy!

While I was still home with the sick boy...Daddy took the other 3 on a walk...it was hot...really hot! But they sure had fun :)

plague.

This poor guy was plagued with an awful stomach bug that lasted for far too long...over a week in fact! TLC was in order!...but the days just. kept. dragging!!! :(

spontaneity.

Some of my favorite summer days are the mornings we wake up with no plans and we end up having a great day with friends in the backyard!

the grammy goes to.

How can life not be a ball of fun with this precious crew?!  They went through a phase this summer where they did a lot of performing for me.  This was a pretty priceless performance for this momma :)

school registration.

On August 6th, a very sad Mommy took these two INCREDIBLY big kids to school for registration for Kindergarten and 2nd grade!  Where is time going?!  They were so excited about the new year coming and couldn't wait to catch a peek of their new classrooms!

On August 5th, we headed to the annual Decatur Park Singers concert for a fun evening of singing and dancing...these kids are a blast!
