happy halloween.

We had a fun-filled Halloween at our house. The ballerina princess loved trick or treating and the frog prince loved the stroller ride on a nice evening! Happy Halloween!

Our little princess always has to play with the flowers.

She was really excited about the candy!

Starting our excursion.

Check out that princess and frog :) (and the sunset in the background!)

Again, the view is nice from up there :)

Well, long story about the jack-o-lantern. We did finish it and there it is, but more to come on that.

What a way to end the night!

halloween dinner.

boo at the zoo

Introducing, Camden DeForest, the frog Prince, and Cole Brianne, the Ballerina Princess.
We had our second annual boo at the zoo experience with our friends last night and it was a beautiful night for it. The kids had a ball at the zoo collecting goodies, riding the carousel, and we even ALL made it out to dinner afterwards.

They love one another--look at their hands. This makes me smile!

Cole, Anna, Emma, & Mabry. Cute girls!

What a beautiful princess on that carousel.

Cole had to stop and check out the "beautiful" pumpkin.

She loved the furry bunny.

If this isn't the cutest frog I've ever seen...

...And this is the whole gang. (And God said, be fruitful and multiply, so we did :)

I thought this was cute.

The Talty Clan.

It's a nice view from up there.

They were hungry...

...however, every good dinner includes lots of laughter!

pizza night.

Moosejaw was our favorite restaurant there. They were so good to the kids and their pizza was really good and you KNOW we love a good pizza. The kids (and Brian of course) got a kick out of the moose antlers.

This is what we get half of the time now when we ask her to smile...nice Cole, thanks.

She was worn out from the water and wanted to be held most of the meal.

world of wonder.

Here are a few videos of our fun in the water. I really can't say enough about the joy we get to experience through our children. God has blessed us beyond belief and it is so refreshing to be reminded of even His "smallest" blessings--even a water slide.

This is the blue slide that Cole is still talking about. She would go down, then run to the edge to watch Daddy slide down.

This was her key phrase..."I'm having so much fun." Despite her lips shivering, you couldn't wipe that smile off of her face! (you have to listen pretty closely because the water noise is so loud.)

Cole loved to swing her brother. What a good big sister. Camden actually enjoyed this much more than the video may lead you to believe.

vacation.

Our family went on our first vacation just the 4 of us this past weekend to the Wisconsin Dells and I can't explain how much fun it really was. When we first arrived, I guess I was being a bit critical of the accomodations and Cole said, "What's wrong Mommy, this is going to be really very fun!" Wow, wake up call!

She giggled at every turn and exclaimed how much fun she was having constantly. What a joy! Both of the kids were SO good and it was so refreshing to just let loose and not worry about the normal routine.
The highlight of Cole's trip was the waterpark in our resort. She LOVED the water, but particularly the blue slide that she is still talking about. I think the highlight for Camden was the constant attention from the three of us. He was such a good boy too!

Cole and Daddy spent a lot of time on the slides!

This is the infamous "blue" slide that Cole went down probably 328 times.

As you can see by only her toes, by the 328th time, she didn't have much fear!

This was more Mommy's style. Cole and I hung out in the "big bath tub" for quite a while--the temperature was much nicer there!

Our little man enjoying the swing.

Don't we all look thrilled?!

Can't you just hear her joy?!

It was all a little much for Cam...a nap was usually necessary.

update.

This picture tells it all--check out the excitement on this girl's face! We've been on a short little vacation since Thursday and there is quite a bit to catch you up on, but there is also a lot of unpacking and laundry to do--we'll see how time goes today :)

happy kids.

Aunt Crista came to visit us last week...the kids were really happy! And so was I--thanks for ALL of your help Sis!

fall party

We went to a first birthday party for our little friend Jake this weekend. They had so much for us all to do. The kids painted pumpkins, bounced in a bounce house, swung on the swing, had a hayride, roasted hot dogs & smores, broke a pinata...and the list goes on. We had so much fun, but it was pretty cold

Pumpkin painting was a fun part of the night for little miss.

Cole still loves to swing.

Camden was loving his snuggles.

Hayride fun, but oh so cold!

I think this might be my favorite picture of these two people in a long time. Look how sweet those smiles are!

Hangin' out in the corn.

Pinata craze.
