Little Miss Socialite

A funny story...Cole and I were at the grocery the other day. I had her in the front of the cart and as we checked out, she talked with and smiled at our cashier. When we were finished she began smiling really big and waving at her. It would be a sweet story if I stopped right there, but that's not how the shopping experience ended. You see, we checked out on the grocery side of the store, but I parked on the other end of the parking lot, therefore, I had to walk in front of all of the check out lanes to get to the doors to go outside. It was a busy afternoon and the lanes were full, so Cole decided to smile and wave, parade style, at EACH and EVERYONE she saw at EACH and EVERY check out lane as we exited the store. It was hilarious, and what was equally as funny was that EVERY person she waved at, waved back. She had the attention of the entire front of the store. She is MY little socialite.
By the way, this is her new smile. She likes to scrunch up her nose and smile as if to say, "CHEESE!"--and yes, there are 2 teeth in that sweet little mouth!

Once again, another set of smiles. She loved those daisies!

Big Girl

We think Cole looks like such a big girl in these pictures. She did such a great job again at the photo shoot. We have 90 beautiful pictures of this big smile.

9 Month Pictures

We took Cole for her 9 month pictures today and she was full of smiles as usual. We're beginning to see a pattern here--Cole loves the camera, and even more she loves to smile!

Nine Months

Believe it or not, Cole was 9 months old on Saturday. She had her 9 month doctor visit on Monday and she was perfect! We thought we'd share with you her stats... She was 17 lbs 12oz and 28 in long. She also had to have her finger pricked and this is what she thought of that...

Spring Chick

Cole enjoyed the warm weather last week! Every time we would walk outside, she would look at me and giggle. She loves being outside. We're looking forward to much more of that to come!

Visit to the 'Ville

Cole and Mom visited Louisville last week while Dad was in South Carolina. She saw lots of people and shared lots of love.

Cole & Mommy

Cole and Mommy are in Louisville visiting family. We enjoyed the beautiful weather at the playground and are busy visiting with lots of friends, AND...yes, Mom's hair is a different color.

And She's Off...

Cole started crawling tonight! We're having a hard time believing that she is mobile and are making plans to go get the gates and safety features ASAP! You'll see in the first couple of videos that she was a bit reluctant, but by the end, she was movin' and grovin'. Aunt Crista also taught her how to give a high five which you will see on the video as well. She is growing up WAY too fast!

Day at the Park

Cole had her first experience at the park. She loved swings, slides, dinosaur, and chick. We are looking forward to many more days at the park as the weather warms up here.

Don't Mess with Jess

... okay, so the unspoken, yet obvious rule of this blog is to create posts somewhat related to Cole. This relates... somewhat.

You see, we have a daughter named Cole and a cat named Tux. Tux yips for food constantly and therefore is always waking Cole up (as well as Jess and I) far too early in the morning. Tux (and cats in general) hate water, espescially when they are shot directly with it.

Exhibit A is one of two squirt guns recently purchased for 50 cents to silence Tux. Exhibit B, C, and D are why you should never get in a squirt gun fight with Jessica Talty.
