cool treats.

We took a famiy trip to DQ last week. Just a little "special treat" as Cole calls it. It's amazing how many smiles come from such a small thing!

Again, the phrase...two peas in a pod.

Wrong way Cam.

brain freeze!

I think she kind of likes her Daddy!!!

talty daycare.

A couple of weeks ago, we had the privilege of watching our friends Mabry and Sydney! Our kids of course loved the day we got to spend together!
It was a pretty full day...playing outside, garage sales, and of course a day capper at the zoo!

(Cole was at school in the a.m.)

Yep...they really did want to ride in the back together!

...the suckers were a plus!

happy girls on the merry-go-round!

Camden woke up with a fever after his nap, so he missed our zoo trip...poor guy!

missed opportunity!!!

Don't know if you're familiar with the Etrade commercials, but it would seem we missed our chance at making millions on Camden. People tell us all of the time that he looks like that baby, so we put it to the test.
Google Etrade baby commercials and compare...let me know what you think ;)

Should I be concerned about this new trend?! I don't know...it's awfully sweet!

happy birthday ryne.

Ryne had his 2nd birthday party last weekend and the kids of course had a ball being together. However, I'm beginning to worry about Anna's influence :)

Mmmmm...the girls were lovin their cookies and ice cream...mostly naked of course ;)

Camden was really enjoying his cake! What a cute Mousekateer!

joy ride.

Daddy hosted a golf tournament for our church last weekend and this beautiful truck was a hole-in-one prize. Unfortunately, he didn't win it, but we did get to take the kids for a spin in it...(around the court...don't panic!)

They thought it was pretty cool!

more last zoo days.

When I posted a post about our "last zoo days" I didn't mean that our days were over...just coming to a close, which means were are packing A LOT of trips to the zoo into our schedule these days!
Last Friday, Cole didn't want to go to school (she was just really tired) so we decided to give her something to look forward to after school. We picked her up from school (then she was sad she didn't get to ride the bus home :)! We went through the golden arches drive through and took a picnic to the zoo.

It was a beautiful day!

Daddy was showing Cole how to work her Happy Meal toy.

Two peas in a pod.

She's becoming our own little zoo expert.

PRICELESS!!! They love to hold hands now!

Camden was showing Daddy about the prairie dogs.

Okay, so Camden has a lot to say to the goats. Although he's pretty impossible to understand, he's sure excited about these animals.

CAUTION: May cause your skin to crawl...yes, I did allow my son to stick his finger in the mouth of a goat. Sorry, chalk it up to another life experience.

spilt milk.

Okay...so this is a partial view of my husband's every night. Cookies and milk are always a must for him before bed.
However, on this particular night, he was watching t.v. while pouring his milk. This kind of thing just happens to him!

ring around the rosies.

I am SO grateful for these moments! Our kids really do love to play together.

I can't say enough about how wonderful of a big sister Cole is to her little brother and how much Camden adores her!

I really am treasuring these moments hoping they don't end any time soon!

Mommy and Daddy sure are proud of you two!

busy daddy.

This is becoming quite the favored activity in our home!

...but they're having so much fun!

the wiggles.

There's a new miracle in our life...it's called The Wiggles! This video of probably the most obnoxiously annoying songs ever created has captured our son's attention. Until this day, he would never sit still to watch anything. The Wiggles gives us a complete 40 minutes of peace and quiet...well almost.

They LOVE to watch it together. They get into the chair TOGETHER and watch the entire show! It really is sweet to see them snuggle like this.

husky husker.

One of our youth kids has a mowing business and brought over his new Husker mower for Brian to try out. Camden thought he was big stuff!

Look at those cheeks!

last zoo days.

Our zoo days are coming to a close for the year, which are sad times for our family! We enjoyed some time as a family there last week!

Once again, the view is better from up there!

Gross, Cole!!!

What a little ham!

They love one another! :)

Gotta love a playground!!!
