On August 2nd, a very special family was on our way to see us! And we were PUMPED!!! The kids were beside themselves excited to meet their "own real cousin" :)

Aunt Crista did the color run while we were there...so AWESOME!!!!  I must do this at some point in my life!  Go girl!!!

"surprise" party.

While we were there, we had a "surprise" party for my little sister.  Now, anyone who knows her knows she's not thrilled with surprises!  Therefore, by the time it was party day, she was fairly clear on what was going to happen.
We are so excited for the adventure she is beginning and we wanted to show her just how loved she is by so many!

An exciting event took place that week as well!  Aunt Criata was moving to Lexington to begin medical school at the University of Kentucky so the three stooges had to help her pack up!

When we're at Nana and Papaw's house, the kids always enjoy the backyard swing!  One of their favorite places to be.

When we make it to Louisville, my girlfriends and I make an effort to get the kids together to play somehow.  We were missing a few this day, but the kids had a ball despite the heat!
I know I've said it before, but I am so grateful for such special friends that have withstood the test of many years and miles!  Love you girls and all of your precious kiddos!
