We love you MO

One of our seniors and a dear friend, MacKenzie, AKA MoMo at our house, is graduating this Friday. It seems hard to believe, but she will be leaving for Greenville College in the fall to study Education. Cole has grown quite fond of MoMo, in fact she will cry when MoMo leaves. Mo, we love you and pray all of God's blessings on your new adventure!

Sun Bather

Cole takes the sun, flowers, grass, weeds, etc. very seriously! :)

And She's Off...

Cole took her first steps on Mother's Day and she has been moving ever since. She is starting to get a bit more brave about going from one place to the other via walking. We thought we'd share a video of her new found independence.

Not For Sale

So in order to get ready to make our big move, Brian and I gathered all of our "junk" and had a garage sale. We had a slow moment and decided that we thought Cole would enjoy a nice swing in our chair hammock that we brought back from Mexico. Instead of her laughing and getting a kick out of the swing, she fell asleep...and I mean asleep. I think she was out in about 45 seconds. Can you believe that she napped there for almost an hour and a half while everyone that came by was watching over her?! She looks quite cozy!

Bath Time

Bath time in our house is quite the party. Cole practically runs, with assistance, to the tub when she hears the water running! Lately, we have started a new tradition and that is brushing her pearly whites in the bath tub--she thinks it's funny :) I'm tellin' ya, this kid doesn't stop smiling!

Youth Group Trip

A couple of weekends ago, Cole and I went with Brian and the youth group to Anderson University for a junior high youth conference and we had a ball. Cole was super flexible and loads of fun. She loves the loud music (with ear plugs in of course), bright lights, attention from 1000's of people, and her mommy and daddy with her all weekend. She really chatted it up with those boys! Watch out Daddy, she's starting early!
