yet another...

...golfer in the making.

happy thanksgiving.

The Talty Thanksgiving was pretty low key. We watched the parade, which as you will see in the video, Cole was really excited about. Then we went through the ads, picked up our house, made a small lunch and then we were off to get Mimi from the airport.
We pray your Thanksgiving was a blessed one. We are thankful for all of you!

generations.

Joy. Generations of joy. When I look at the sparkle in my children's eyes, I can't help but thank my mom for teaching me about what it means to be a mom. I am both humbled and grateful to be the daughter of my mother and the mother to my children. I love you Mom!

and he's off.

Camden really started crawling this past weekend as you can see in the video. He's been army crawling for quite a while, but today he is getting from one side of the room to the other in no time...he is much more proficient now than he was in the video. And as you will see, the reward for moving from place to place is the key...usually has to do with electronics.

next best thing.

When Daddy's and Papaw's aren't around...Nana will have to do :)

take 2.

Daddy was out of town this past weekend, so Nana came to the rescue. THANK YOU MOM!!! Cole and Nana went to see Bolt, the new 3D Disney movie. Check out the modern day 3D glasses.

faithfulness.

The surgery was successful. Camden is sleeping. Thank you for your prayers.

...pictures from this morning.

Checking in at the front desk. Cole was pretty protective of her little brother this morning.

Loving on each other in pre-op.

Pre-Op: Pretty sure there has never been a baby that looked quite that sweet in a hospital gown!

Daddy got him to sleep right before he went back for the surgery...perfect.

Post-Op: Camden woke up not feeling so good and crying a lot, but we are on our way to healthy ears!

Thanks again for all of your prayers!

surgery day.

Camden's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning (Tuesday) around 7 a.m. Please pray for Dr. Chadwick, the nurses in the room, Camden's sweet little ears, his precious little heart, and for the nervous parents in the waiting room. We are trusting that everything will go beautifully and that we will have a little guy that feels much better in a couple of days than he felt today.

Hey, ya can't argue with this confession! The truth shall set you free.

movie night done right.

Last Friday, we took the kids (Cole in particularly) to see Madagascar 2...she LOVED it!--we all LOVED it! It really is a funny movie even for the parents. This was her first real experience with the movie theatre and she was sure into it! She somehow knew that popcorn and candy went with the movie theatre...hmmm.

She loved it so much, this poster came home with us and is now hanging on her closet door--yeah.

As you can see, she was thrilled to pause for some pictures with Mom and Dad:)

Camden actually loved it too!

Now that's the life if you ask me!

She was REALLY excited!!!

splish splash.

This video was taken almost a few weeks ago when I was in Louisville. Mom and I were giving Camden a bath and he discovered the art of splashing. I got the camera after he had been splashing for a good 5 minutes or more, so he was beginning to die down...it was hilarious though--you get the point.

cartoons.

Should I be concerned?

i love his little ears.

We had an appointment with an ENT specialist for Camden today about his chronic ear infections and the verdict--tubes. His surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday morning.
He will feel better, but for now...
...my heart is aching.
As much as I know it's not a major surgery and am incredibly grateful that our family is blessed with healthy children, I still can't help but be a little anxious.
Please pray for our precious boy!

"May he be enthroned in God's presence forever; appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him."Psalm 61:7

(Check out those teeth that popped through over a month ago. He's growing up so fast!)

the mr. and mrs.

I introduce to you, Mr. & Mrs. Cheeks :) When I was in Louisville, I got to visit with my friend Nikki and her little girl, Madalyn, who is 5 weeks younger than Camden.
We got to meet them and our friend Ashley, at one of my favorite places in the world...California Pizza Kitchen!
It is so cute to watch the kids start to interact.
(I apologize for the quality of the pictures...the camera was definately acting up, but you get the point.)

Camden's new trick that he wakes up doing...clapping.

This was funny. Camden is going through a phase where we just screams at the top of his lungs for no real reason other than to hear his own voice, I think. He started doing this at the restaurant, and as soon as he would scream, Madalyn's bottom lip would come out and she would start sobbing. It was kind of sad, cute, and hilarious all at the same time!

season's beginning.

The Christmas season began for us a couple weeks ago in Louisville when Cole discovered Santa's sleigh outside of the mall.

tickle time

While in Louisville, we got to visit with my grandparents who took advantage of a couple of cuddly kids! I love this first picture...it's a little crazy, but it really shows the excitement that children can bring!

quality time.

Camden was really into talking to Cole, however, if my memory is correct Cole was a little more interested in the cartoons on the television.

more babies.

Another baby shower for a high school friend! Ashley and Andy are expecting baby Jack in January. Just in case you're having trouble finding the pregnant one, Ashley is the one in middle...it's just not right how some people look during pregnancy. You're beautiful Ash! Congrats Ashley and Andy and thanks Nikki for a fun shower.

beautiful day.

The weather was unbelievable last week. Mid to high 70's in early Nov??? It was rather rejuvinating! Last Sunday we soaked up some sun and warm air after church.
