father's day.
Father's Day, June 15th, we got to celebrate a very special man's day. I'm not able to put into words what this guy is to our family--he's a ROCK! He really is the most amazing father I could ever dream of our kids having. I humbly consider it an honor to share life with him!
That being said…this day was filled with whatever it was that Daddy wanted to do!
It started with some incredibly thoughtful handmade gifts from the kiddos, followed by a great morning at church (which might have included sitting on motorcycles), then a date lunch to wings with Cole (who seemed quite comfortable with eating those wings). Next was golf with Camden and we ended with Daddy's favorite dessert, strawberry shortcake, on the patio. Special day for a special Daddy!

Later that day, it was one on one time for this cutie! What a blast being at the pool with this guy!

This crew woke up alongside the bugs bright and early. Some donuts helped to get everyone moving.

campout birthday.
Cole had a VERY special 8th birthday party on June 13th…her first ever sleepover and it was a CAMPOUT!!! Fun right?! It was unless you were the momma that had to sleep out there in the freezing cold with those silly girls ;)
We had a blast…it started with a scavenger hunt to find the girls goodie bags, then onto, dinner, gifts, roasting marshmallows and s'mores and ended with a movie in the tent. (Isn't that cheating by the way?! Movie in a tent…who's ever heard of such a thing?!) By the way, you may notice one 6 year old boy hanging out in that tent and that's because his generous sister allowed him to sleep in there with them! That won't last much longer ;)

worn out.
We were hardly out of the parking lot before Callynn fell asleep and she continued to sleep thru our quick meal before heading home. Case tuckered out on the way home too :) Sign of a good day!
family fun day.
On June 12th, we headed to Springfield for a very FUN family day at Knights Action Park. We all had a blast! It was a little cool for a June day but didn't seem to bother them any!
