This little man had an excellent first season of basketball! Although he was the smallest guy out there, he hustled and had a great attitude the entire time! It's safe to say he's found his favorite team sport so far...now, baseball is up next, so the final word is to be determined :)

another first.

This sweet girl had her first solids on November 6th...it was an experience none of us will soon forget!  She brings such joy to this house!  When we called the big kids into the kitchen, there was applause and cheering...never a dull moment :)

One of Cole's best little buddies from school, Isabelle, invited her over for a playdate evening and it would seem that they had quite a lot of fun!

crossfit birthday.

The boys got to go to a fun birthday party a few weeks ago Crossfit style!  These cadets sure had a blast!

chuck-e-cheese.

On November 2nd, we had a fun celebration day for Camden at Chuck-E-Cheese! The kids were in hog heaven and were totally into all of the games!  However, Cole has reached a new milestone and discovered a love for tickets even more so than for the fun of the game ;)

date night.

Thursday night is date night for Brian and I, most every week! Most of the time, our kids get to go to Jeff and Judy's house which is something they look forward to every week!
Callynn came along this particular night...I sure was one happy girl sitting across the table from this sight! :)

And this is what we come back to...such happy kiddos :)

first grade field trip.

The next day, Cole had an all day field trip to one of the local nature reserves. She was feeling pretty special that day because Daddy got to go to the first half of the day and Mommy the second half.  Cole was sure in her element!

And she wanted to take pictures of every little thing we saw...here is an example of her photog skills :)

halloween 2012.

We had a ball on Halloween!  Instead of the big shindig we usually try to pull off, we had a couple of friends over for pumpkin shaped pizzas and trick-or-treating!  It was a blustery cold night, but we sure had fun!

This cowboy preferred to be held by Daddy much of the night with his hands comfortably in his pockets.  Smart boy ;)

Most of the kids were tough to get on camera though.  They were a mile a minute and we could not keep up!  Times are a changin!  And check out this idea...
